August 20, 2004 -- Canadians finally have home turf to play on and Affiliates can look after their Canadian members even better.

"We are looking forward to the response when we launch the Canadian casino on 1 September," says Casino Manager Charlotte Jackson. "We've been met with positive response from Casino Affiliate partners (who want to offer their Canadian members gaming tailored to their needs) as well as the general online Canadian sector. To promote the casino, we are running a “Guess the Name” campaign.” Entrants are asked to send their answer to competitions@vegaspartnerlounge.com. First 10 correct guesses will win great prizes!

“We plan to operate the Canadian Casino on exactly the same principles as our sister casinos,” Charlotte says, “and, like our other casinos, we expect to be awarded another the coveted eCOGRA Players Seal of Approval as soon as Price Waterhouse Coopers audits the casino.” The Seal is awarded to casinos in compliance with eCOGRA’s exceptional standards, demonstrating that Games are fair, the casino operates honestly and responsibly, and monetary deposits are safe and winning bets are paid in a timely manner.

In further recognising Canada and Canadians, Vegas Partner Lounge has also brought Canadian dollars as a payment method to all their other casinos. Vegas Partner Lounge is the first Microgaming casino group to accept Canadian Dollars.

Design:
Co-owners Greg Den Herder and Igor Blatnik, in collaboration with 3SIX0 architectural designers Chris Bardt and Kyna Leski, have created a spatial experience from light and the creation of colors only seen in paradise. Highlights of the design include sensuous LED lit stairwalls that become the bar as one moves through, purple heart floors, rolling maple ceilings, and brick arches- collectively producing a feeling of “prismatic warmth”. All the while, a state-of-the-art sound system unobtrusively surrounds guests with the latest beats.

Cuisine:
Inspired by the classical interpretation of French & Italian cuisine the menu carefully allows for both fares to highlight one another’s traditional bases. Offerings such as freshly made pastas, a selection of carpaccios, authentic thin crust pizzettas, elegant tartares and perfectly prepared filets make the experience at 33 simply unforgettable.

Further accentuating the spirit of the carte du jour is the constantly changing and extensive 300-plus wine list featuring selections from both France & Italy, with a focus on small yet significant producers. Patrons and connoisseurs alike are privy to an exclusive wine list that generously provides for the perfect night.

The Team:
This seductive new meeting point is all under the guidance of highly acclaimed Executive Chef Joshua Botsford. Joining forces with a powerhouse of celebrated chefs- Chef Botsford has studied under a skilled group including Barbara Lynch (3 time James Beard nominee) and Marco Canora (famed Executive Chef of Craft, NYC). Chef Botsford comes to 33 Restaurant & Lounge from No. 9 Park and continues to impress us with his magical creations.

Greg Den Herder & Igor Blatnik met in high school in Switzerland and have known each other for over 21 years. 33 Restaurant & Lounge is a combination of their ideas from their experiences and travels around the globe. It is their hope that you are able to share in the creation of their dream.

J-Bird Records International Blues Recording Artist to perform at Chaser's Lounge in Orange, Ca.

By Anonymous

Greg Serrato, referred by some as "The Guitar Tornado" is a Native American (Apache) high-powered blues rock guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who takes command of the stage with his ferocious fret work and hard driving blues. Hailing from southern California, he is regarded by www.Bluesrockers.ws as one of the most talented blues rock guitarists in the world. Greg is back by veteran drummer Alan Cater and the legendary bassist of the Blendells fame "Big" Mike Rincon. The partnership has become a force to be reckoned with and is generating a lot of excitement in and around the United States.

In the summer of 2000, Greg toured Canada and parts of the United States to share his music with blues fans abroad. Following the success of the Windsor & London Canada BluesFest International 2000, Greg spent the next nine months in the recording studio during 2000-2001 laying down what is now his third release on J-Bird Records.

"Like A Tornado" (nominated for Best Blues Recording by The Native American Music Awards)is a twelve song album of all original music with the exception of the Bob Dylan classic "All Along The Watchtower." Greg takes full advantage to experiment and drive his music in different directions; taking it to new heights. None the less, never steering away from the element which fuels his desire to perform: The Blues! One reviewer put it simple. "Like A Tornado will blow you away!"

Prior J-Bird Records releases include the critically acclaimed "Child Of The Blues - 1998" and the scorcher; "Holy Smokes - 1999." Both are nationally distributed by the Navarre Corporation.

In July of 2002, Serrato released his "Live At Modesto's State Theater" cd. This is a true representation of his fiery performances and the excitement he generates when he takes the stage. This cd has received some very high marks for excellence.

Greg started playing the guitar at the age of five and by the age of eleven, he was performing in his first band. Since then, he has shared Blues Festival and Concert Club stages with such notables as, Double Trouble, Albert Collins, Rod Piazza, Colin James, Canned Heat, Savoy Brown, Sonny Rhodes, Gregg Allman, Jeff Healey, Leon Russell, Bill Lordan, Lowell Fulson, Johnnie Johnson, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rik Emmit, Tommy Castro, El Chicano, Duke Robillard, Etta James, Jimmie Vaughan, Keb Mo, Robin Trower and many, many more.

Greg's influences include Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Danny Gatton, Robin Trower, and Carlos Santana.

As one New York reviewer wrote: "People we have got to get this guy to town to see if he's for real!" We guarantee Serrato is as real and talented as they come!
